Billy.

We have a weasel now.

I say 'we' because it's yours, too. I will not raise this vermin on my own.

[OOC: LOL SURROGATE BABBY

I just realized that West already hit 100 posts if you count his action spams/logs in this journal as entries. And... I counted some of them, so he's only made like... 96? written entries? I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO FOR THE 100th POST EXTRAVAGANZA NOW BAWWW]

Female, and... no. Billy and I haven't decided on a name yet.

A... play date. I'll have to think about it.

You know, so our pets can socialize? If we wait until they're fully grown, they might display hostility towards each other.

Let me know when you've decided.

It's a weasel. Why would it wish to socialise with a dog? That makes no sense.

Pets can get along with animals not of their own species, you know. The more people and species a pet is comfortable around, the more relaxed they'll be on average when around people and things they don't know. That's why I'm trying to set up play dates for my dog.

Weasels--I'm going to assume she's a ferret, specifically, as I don't imagine Morgan would get you a feral weasel--tend to be bitey little things. She needs to get used to frequent handling, and a variety of people and creatures, if you want her to get better about that.

It's going to break if anybody-- or anything-- is too rough with it. I don't foresee myself letting it loose around other animals or strangers.

It's really sweet, how protective you're being over it. My dog, however, is just a baby. The worst he could do is decide your ferret smells wonderful and sniff and lick at her for the entirety of the visit.

You can walk ferrets like dogs. They have little harnesses and leashes made for them. We could walk them together...?

I am not walking a bloody ferret like a poncing twit.

Ferrets need exercise, just like any other pet. When she gets bigger, you'll need to start taking her for walks.

It's nothing to be embarrassed about. It just makes you a responsible pet owner.

My cabin's rather large. It can exercise just fine in there.
