Congratulations. You won. Here's to an eternity of the status quo.
[After a pause]
Billy... Please tell me you're alright.
[AND IN THE BACKGROUND YOU CAN HEAR RAYNE SHOUTING THE FOLLOWING]
JESUSFUCKINGCHRISTMONKEYBALLS! SOMEONE BETTER BE LETTING ME OUT OF HERE OR-
[OOC: Major McCrazyface is in Level 0 now with a bandaged, possibly broken hand, a STILL stitched up leg, and a frown :c I'm pretty sure Inmates can't initiate private filters, hence his having to ask about Billy in public. ANYWAY. Visit him if you'd like; just spam it in this post]

Date: 2009-06-30 06:20 pm (UTC)I know. The Doctor... he destroyed his own people in order to prevent the enslavement of the universe. I destroyed an entire species to save my own. The right thing... it isn't always easy. It isn't always pretty. And we get it wrong sometimes. Ask me about how I almost destroyed the universe sometime...
But we keep trying, we answer for our mistakes, and hopefully learn from them.
[She smiled at his reaction to Jack]
Do you know how I first met Jack?

[West shakes his head at her question]
No, I don't.

Date: 2009-06-30 06:49 pm (UTC)Yep. It's a long story I'll tell some other time, but the gist is I disobeyed the Doctor on something very important and caused the very fabric of reality to start to unravel.
[She squeezed his hand a tiny bit]
When I met Jack, he was a con artist, pretty much only interested in making a quid. He tried to con the Doctor and I, but it went wrong. Horribly wrong.
He helped us, though. In the end, he helped us to set things right. And wound up becoming one of my best friends.
