[She curled one hand around a bar, and extended the other through toward him.]

[West is lurking on his cot, nursing his injured hand. He looks at Rose for a moment, then looks away]

Yes, I'm fine. I hope you weren't too badly hurt.

Talked more, I suppose. That seems to be what they all wanted: for us to talk until we thought something was being done. Then they could forget all about it.

I think a part of me prefers the cells. There aren't any illusions of false 'fairness' here; it's honest. It shows the Barge for what it is.
