Oh, quit complaining, all of you. It'll be over in a few days, as it always is. Honestly, is this any worse than a standard flood? You only look different.

[Morgan sighs and leans against the wall.]

We're talking later.

Major, I'm going to say this once, and I'm not going to warn you ever again: Find something else to make you feel better. I don't care what it is so long as you're not hurting anyone else. But if I even suspect from now on, I'm taking your liquor away. If you drink yourself into the infirmary, or -- heaven forbid -- to death, you will be taking up permanent residence in Level 0, and that's a promise.

[She shrugged.]

And that's all I'm going to say about that.

[And she goes to the door and opens it.]

Do what you have to do to get sober in the next three hours, because we're meeting in the pool room again.

[She steps out and shuts the door behind her.]

[Billy narrows his eyes slightly as Morgan leaves]

You know something West? Your Warden is a real asshole sometimes.

[He pauses for a minute, before turning to glance at West slightly. He has some strong doubts that the little girl will be sober within the next three hours.]

And I think she might be unreasonably hopeful on the front of your sobriety.

[He scowls at Morgan, but doesn't say anything, although he very nearly takes up the bottle of liquor to throw it at her. Of course, with his reflexes as slow as they are, and his sobriety as nonexistent as it is, he just ends up slumping to the side and leaning into Billy again]

Mmhm.

[Then he looks at Billy with a drunken smile and nods]

Three hours.

[He giggles again, then closes his eyes and mutters] Yeah. Right.

[Billy scoots his arm around the younger girl, feeling almost maternal--PATERNAL, he meant, paternal towards West right now. He shifts back slightly onto the couch, deciding to let West get his sleep. As long as Billy can keep an eye on him and make sure he's all right, this is all right.]
