003 - Discoveries

My apologies to anybody who'd seen the last, er, entry. I won't be giving "excess" another try for a good long while now.

Anyway, I learned a couple of disconcerting facts about my situation. One, the dead can still dream, which I think is rather pointless. It's a bit late for dreams. Two, the dead can still get a killer hangover.

This place is rubbish.

You're not the only one who drinks. Whenever we stop into the right sorts of ports I try to stock up -- since stops like that are rare. And in those cases it helps to keep a little something around to kill the hangover afterwards.

Yes, but you'd be surprised. Actually, given the hair, you look a little too much like me to be mistaken for me. Actually, if I have to regenerate on this ship, I do hope it happens when we get an influx of new people. It'd be hilarious! People mistaking me for some random person... I do like my anonymity , but it's not like I can get it here.

My people have... a way of cheating death. Our bodies change, rebuild themselves... so we end up with different faces, different personalities. In my last life, I had big, dark hair and I was more soft-spoken.
