062 - I feel pretty, oh so pretty!
Oh, quit complaining, all of you. It'll be over in a few days, as it always is. Honestly, is this any worse than a standard flood? You only look different.
[OOC: And he's so pretending that he didn't just have some insane fit of emo and crack open his Christmas booze at the sight of himself. SO. A LITTLE GIRL MIGHT BE GETTING ALCOHOL POISONING BECAUSE SHE'S TRYING TO DRINK LIKE A GROWN MAN. Somebody stop him plz :c]

...
[Seeing that Billy is managing just fine getting West awake, she chooses not to announce her presence but instead carries the items to the nearest bedside table. Despite how clumsy she seems sometimes in the kitchen, each piece seems to make it to the flat surface practically soundlessly and without a drop spilled. She fills the mug and sets the pitcher aside.]
How are you feeling, Major?
[Her voice is calm, much calmer than it was before, without all the usual snark or skepticism. There was a chair next to the bed, near the table -- probably meant for draping coats or other things. Chairs always wound up that way in bedrooms -- not so much for sitting as they were for holding stuff, though this one was perfectly clean now. Morgan sinks into it quietly.

Maybe tucked away somewhere. Sorry for waking you up.
[Then he glances over his shoulder to Morgan and shifts back slightly, half feeling like he should get out of here before she starts doing the warden-y thing, half not really wanting to abandon West]

Tired. Hungover.

[In spite of the mild snark, there, she's still quiet as she leans over to pick up the mug of water and hold it out to him.]
You need fluids. Sit up slowly. Sip slowly.
[She leans over to help prop pillows.]
We're going to do things a little differently today, if that's okay. No shouting. No demands or ultimatums. Just talking.
[Biting her lip, Morgan sits back down. She glances up at Billy, then back at him.]
And if it's all right with both of you, I'd like it if Billy stayed. I...think I know whose face you're wearing. And I know it's rough. So there's not going to be any confronting, no accusations. I just want you to be safe, and I want to help you feel better without letting you go numb.
SKIPPING BILLY FOR A ROUND
You--
[What? That's a change. He looks over at Billy questioningly, as though his friend might have some explanation, then at Morgan again. With a small shrug, he looks down at his cup and drinks again]
Alright.
no subject
Is that all right with you, Billy?
no subject
Sure.
[He still isn't entirely sure about why Morgan's changed her attitude so drastically over the last few hours, but he's willing to stick around for the sake of West at least.]

[Morgan sat forward a little, somewhat confidentially, bringing her hands together in front of her.]
You know I'm going to ask questions, so if it's all right with both of you, I'd like to even the ground a little bit. [Make it feel a little less like she was interrogating someone.] For every one that I ask you, Major, you can ask me one, too, and I'll answer it honestly.
[A glance.]
Billy, will you take part as well?
no subject
Fine. Ask your questions; go ahead.
no subject
Sure, okay.

Hannah.

Do you want to ask me a question, or do you want another one?

She had just lost her father. So, she was quiet and withdrawn, as was expected.

[He shrugs. He doesn't want to say that he didn't want to speak to her, get to know her in any fashion, as he knew what was to come.]
That's about it.

Well, I said hello.
