Alright, thanks Penny!

[A few minutes later there's a soft rapping on Major Wests door.]

Hannah? It's Penny.

[She opens the door, grinning broadly at the other woman. It's nice to have somebody else around who's not a creepy stranger, as being in a room that she knows is Henry's unnerves her. She knows he won't be back (he's dead, after all), but he's as bad, as nasty, as any Infected. So the company's welcome; it makes her feel safe, almost normal again]

Penny!

[She goes towards the television and picks up the box that the PS2 came in] This is it. I looked at the manual, but it's a bunch of drawings of wires, so...

[Penny gives a big, relieved smile when she sees that Hannah looks happy! Honestly, what kind of a place for a little girl is this? It's a prison and she's stuck in some grown up soldiers room!]

Hannah!

[She peeks in after the teenager, before coming in and heading over towards the PS2. Thank god for games consoles, and traces of normality amidst disaster.]

I think I can do this! My ex boyfriend used to live on his playstation!

[She rolls her eyes slightly and smiles, as if sharing a secret as she said this. Girl talk, and sisterhood and all that! Right, time to work on setting up the PS2, Penny takes a quick look over the wires, and works it out without too much trouble, that this is the adapter and that is the plug and that's where the memory card goes and after a few minutes she has the beginnings of a set up console...]

You want to try it?

[It's not long before she arrives; Morgan wonders fleetingly whether she should be doing this. It's still her Inmate, but it's also a little girl. At least either way she can say that she helped. Today she knocks instead of letting herself in, though.]

[She laughs at Penny's revelation (although she can't entirely relate, having never had a boyfriend before) and hops onto the couch while the woman begins working on the console. When it's done, she perks up, then begins rifling through the games she's found (Christmas gifts that hadn't been taken out of the plastic yet). What's a good two-player game? Hmm. With a smile, she pulls up some kind of... snowboarding game that she's never heard of before-- and looking at the release year on the back, it seems like it came out long after the Infection. Weird.]

[She goes to put the game into the console, when there's a knock at the door. Sticking the disc in to boot up, she goes to the door and looks up]

Hi Morgan-- Penny's got it working!

[Then, bounding back to the television (it's been a long time since she's been able to do anything normal), she beams as it appears that the PS2 is, indeed, working]

Oh, this is brilliant!

[Penny has just plugged the controllers in as Hannah comes back over, and glances up with a small smile]

Oh, uh, Captain Morgan.

[She stands, and offers the other woman her hand to shake it.]

I'm Penny. It's nice to meet you.

Oh. [Morgan takes Penny's hand -- for a minute wondering how Billy knew this person, but it wasn't her business to ask.] Good to meet you, Penny. [She blinks at the working television in the main room. West had seemed somewhat amused at her utter cluelessness when it came to technology. He'd indulged her questions, but there wasn't much to do with the television.] Wow. So how do you play games on it? [She looked around them.] Is there enough room? Or is it like cards?

Uh.

[She holds up the controller]

You use this. [And then a point to the console and TV, which is now playing the opening movie of the game] And these.

It's easy! Well... sort off.

[Penny offers encouragingly]

You have a character on the screen, and the buttons on the control pad make them do different things! You play the game by making them do the right things.

[She gestures to the control pad and offers an encouraging smile.]

There are two controlers, so how about you two go first? I'll play the winner.
