062 - I feel pretty, oh so pretty!

Oh, quit complaining, all of you. It'll be over in a few days, as it always is. Honestly, is this any worse than a standard flood? You only look different.

[OOC: And he's so pretending that he didn't just have some insane fit of emo and crack open his Christmas booze at the sight of himself. SO. A LITTLE GIRL MIGHT BE GETTING ALCOHOL POISONING BECAUSE SHE'S TRYING TO DRINK LIKE A GROWN MAN. Somebody stop him plz :c]

[The water helps, some... or, at least, he thinks it's helping. He almost begins to nod, when it hits him, a wave of nausea, and he quickly shakes his head]

'm gonna be sick.

[He quickly puts the glass down and moves to stand, then promptly loses his balance and stumbles back onto the couch]

Umm-- bucket?

Bucket?

[Billy has one of those moments of panic, where would West keep a bucket? Oh! The kitchen!]

Bucket! Right! Yes! I'll go... do that, now. Right.

[and out he darts, doing a quick hunt through the cupboards until he finds a big plastic basin and turns to head back towards West with it, hopefully before his friend spills his guts...]

[In a moment of awesomeness, West leans forward and begins to lose his lunch-- figuratively, since he hadn't actually eaten lunch yet-- into the basin, stopping for a moment, thinking it's all good, before he suddenly throws up again. He breathes in hitching breaths, feeling as though he's going to cry-- ughh. Is this what girls do after they get sick?]

Oh-- ew.

[He spits, trying to get rid of the taste of bile in his mouth, then swishes some water in his mouth and spits again]

...sorry.

[Billy keeps the bowl in one hand and reaches forward to push back Wests hair with the other as the little girl vomits. It's never nice to have vomit in your hair, though how he knows that he isn't entirely sure. He smiles slightly, keeping the bowl up as West finishes spitting.]

It's okay, better out than in.

[He pauses for a moment, glancing down at the basin of bile. Gross.]

You feel better now? Or do you think there's more to come?

[He nods, feels as though he's going to throw up again, and instead coughs and dry heaves a little. Looks like there's nothing left. He gulps, making a face at the lingering taste in his mouth, then slumps back, resting his head against the cushions.]

Thanks, Billy.

[He rubs his eyes, then looks down]

'm such a twat. I shouldn't've... done that.

[A little relieved that West appears to be empty, Billy sets down the basin next to him, before moving up to sit beside him on the couch.]

Hey, what are friends for?

[He tilts his head back slightly, and lets out a sigh.]

Yeah, you probably shouldn't have done that, but... considering the circumstances? I'd probably have done the same.

[Well, maybe not exactly the same, but something similar, maybe.]

...If you went back, and it all happened again? Would you do any of it differently?

[West blinks, still a bit too drunk to be quick on the uptake]

What, try to kill myself with brandy or...

[He looks down and lowers his voice]

The other thing.

[Billy gives a slight smile at Wests persisting drunkenness]

[He kind of knows it's not his place to be asking this, but he can't help but feel like maybe West needs to talk about it. even if he is a drunk little girl when he does.]

[He takes another drink of water, then leans into Billy-- an act he'd normally refrain from, but it feels comfortable now, like when he was a boy, and he'd go to his mum with his problems]

[Oh. That's weird. He doesn't want to think about that, so he straightens up as best he can and shrugs]

I don't know.

[Billy almost subconsciously slips his arm around Wests shoulders, it's a weird, comforting, almost protective gesture, and it's really not how he'd touch West, but right now... it's weird, he can't really see this little girl as the same person he'd spent all that time getting drunk with.

He withdraws his arm quickly when West moves away.]

Do you feel guilty about it?

[He pauses, then adds quickly]

You don't hate too answer that. I just thought... It's not really something we've ever talked about.

[He nods reluctantly]

I do-- [He looks down at his hands] Did at the time, too. Sort of. [But it was necessary. That's all. It had to be done]
