[Well, that explains the drinking. Billy leans in slightly, not breaking contact with his friend.] I'm sorry West. [He stops for a moment, pausing before he adds:]

Look, you keep your head down, I'm going to go get you a drink of water, okay?

[Yeah he knows West is used to the drinking, but West is usually a fully grown soldier man, not a little girl.]
